With only six months to completely transform a house from 90s McMansion to modern California cool, Gretchen focused her efforts on architectural elements and continuity of materiality. Along with renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, all floors, doors, trims, and stairs were also updated; a thoughtful overhaul of the space’s décor rounded out the successful transformation.
